Citizen Voices Empowerment Foundation is a youth-led nonprofit civic organization based in Abuja, Nigeria.
Founded around 2024, CVEF exists to help citizens—especially young people, women, and underserved communities—participate meaningfully in the decisions that shape their lives.

Our story
From unheard concerns to shared public power.
Too many people experience public life as something done to them rather than shaped with them. CVEF was formed around a different conviction: citizens have insight, imagination, and the right to influence the systems around them.
Our role is to help create the conditions for that influence— through voice, knowledge, community, and constructive civic action. CVEF also powers Citizen Voices Nigeria (CVN) Media ↗, a citizen-powered platform for civic storytelling and public-interest engagement.
